Introduction

Optimize my plant is a Mendix app that can be deployed on Xcelerator as a Siemens operated SaaS offering, or customer can use the Optimize my plant Starter Kit to extend the Optimize my plant app and deploy and operate himself. Screenshot from Optimize my plant App Optimize my plant offers a customer REST API that can be used to import data into Optimize my plant, such as Products, BOM, etc. The internal REST API (how Optimize my plant Mendix App communicates with Plant Simulation Server) are not exposed. Prerequisites

Data availability

Currently the API provides access to Optimize my plant Masterdata (read and write), query projects and scenarios for a project as well as KPI's for the scenarios (read) and KPI's for the project level (read, write) that can be used to upload historic KPI data for comparison.

Technical

The product is offered as an API web service. Interfacing with an API requires the user to connect and interact with the API endpoint from either a custom program or an application that developers or non-developers can configure (e.g. Python script).

Terms & Conditions

General

The access to the API in the SaaS edition can be enabled by ECA Administrators by issuing a Server User in Xcelerator Admin console. Details on how to create Server Users can be found here

Payment Terms

The Optimize my plant REST API is included in Optimize my plant SaaS deployment.

Service Level Agreement
