Purpose¶

This Data Point Subtopic represents the available system settings provided by the host IED or SG IE system that are being sent over the databus. In order to subscribe to these data points, the subscription will need the Smartgear IE System category subtopic at the beginning of the topic string,"0".

For example, if an application needs the SmartGear IE HEartbeat, they would subscribe to the "0/#" category. If they want to get a specific data point from the category, they would first need to subscribe to the category subtopic, then the data point subtopic (ex. "CAT/DP/#" or "0/0/#" for the SmartGear IE HEartbeat).
